We are now accepting reservations for the remainder of the 2026 camping season.
Because we have only 10 sites, early reservations are recommended, particularly for summer weekends and group bookings.

Riverbend is an off-grid campground designed primarily for fully self-contained RVs.
Limited tent camping may also be available.
There are no electrical, water or sewer hookups, so guests should arrive prepared with their own:

Before You Head Out
We recommend topping up with fuel before making the drive to Riverbend.
Fuel is available in communities including Lashburn and Maidstone, as well as Lloydminster and the Battlefords, depending on the direction you are travelling from.
Once you leave the highway communities, services become more limited, so starting your trip with plenty of fuel makes for a more relaxed rural getaway.

Sunflower U-Pick Closed Until October 3, 2026 🌻🎃
Our Sunflower U-Pick is now closed until Saturday, October 3, 2026.
This year’s combination of sunshine and rain brought on an early finish to many of our sunflowers, with a large number already turning to seed. At this point in the season, there simply aren’t enough bright yellow blooms left to offer the photo opportunities and sunflower-picking experience we want for our guests.
We apologize for the short notice and truly appreciate your understanding. Rather than have anyone make the trip and leave disappointed, we’re giving the garden time to rest while we prepare for fall.
Coming Next: Pumpkin Picking at Witch Hazel’s Homestead 🎃
Our pumpkin patch is looking very promising, with multiple pumpkins already growing. We’ll be spending September preparing Witch Hazel’s Homestead for pumpkin season, including a few fun upgrades — and maybe even something a little spooky!

We’re also hoping to offer another Nature Walk or two with Andy this year, so keep watching for updates.
Fall can be a wonderful time for bird watching as migration begins and many species start moving through the area on their way south. Cooler temperatures can also make for very comfortable walking conditions, and the changing season brings a different mix of birds and wildlife than you may see earlier in the summer.
